Last year I set
myself the challenge of reading a book a week. If you read the blog post I
wrote about the experience, then you will know that it was absolutely hell and
I didn’t enjoy a single second.

I'm done with dating
Dating is exhausting
and I don’t want to do it anymore.
*Disclaimer: I cannot
be held responsible for my hypocrisy when I inevitably redownload Tinder next
week.

Club Tropicana at the Sunderland Empire
When I got offered tickets to see Club Tropicana The Musical I jumped at the chance because not only is my mother a big fan of Joe McElderry
but the show describes itself as "the 80s answer to Love Island" and that was
more than enough to convince me.

Feeling a little bit lost at 24
I turned 24 nearly two weeks ago and since then my
brain keeps sporadically reminding me just how old that is.

Eight queer films to add to your to-watch list
As
you may have guessed from other posts on my blog, I’m a big film fan and this
is especially true when it comes to queer cinema. Although my list of films to
watch is never shorter than a mile long, if I get wind that a film is gay, then
it’s heading straight (no pun intended) to the top of my to-watch list.

Common myths about bisexuality
As anyone who knows or follows me will know, being
bi is something I take great pride in and that’s because it took me a long time
to reach that point. I was in denial about being attracted to girls until I was
18 and when I was in my first relationship with a girl that same year, I told
myself I was gay.

Nine queer books to pick up during LGBT+ History Month
You
may or may not know that February is LGBT+ History Month! I first became aware
of the campaign when I was at uni because it was widely celebrated on my campus
and, since I was on the LGBT+ society committee, it was a pretty big deal for
us.

Five true crime documentaries you need to see to believe
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll
know that last week Netflix released Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy
Tapes.
It was hard to miss since it has been all
anyone was talking about over the weekend and these days,

Do I really need all of the things?
Recently, I’ve got in a really bad habit that I
think everyone falls victim to at one time or another.
I can’t stop spending money.

Is the James Charles palette worth the hype?
Yes, the title of this post means I finally got my hands
on the James Charles palette. I’m definitely a little bit late to the game on
this one, but these things sold out quicker than the Greggs vegan sausage roll
so what was a girl to do?

Meet Margo
If you’re one of the people who used to read my blog, you may have noticed I took a big
(unintentional) break last year and barely posted anything throughout 2018. But, it’s a new year, and one of my resolutions is to post once a week so what
better time than now to give my favourite little girl, Margo, a proper introduction?

I read 52 books in a year and it was a terrible idea
I actually did it. I read
a book a week for a year. Or, at least, I read 52 books over the course of a
year, having fallen behind schedule on more than one occasion and needing a
real effort to catch up.
